In most small towns, people like to talk. They gossip about their neighbors and friends, mostly just to pass the time and have something to do. But not in this place. Deep in the woods, down a dark and unpaved road, there lives a family that people around here DON’T talk about. For the most part, they go about their lives and try not to give it much thought. That is, until the weather starts to chill and the leaves start to turn and the “Local Person Missing” stories start on the news again. Then the rumors start to spread about what really happens, beyond the fence and the no trespassing signs that line that dark road.
The local police say its all talk and the cases are unrelated but if you ask anyone who’s not too scared to talk about it...there is always one name that comes up when something strange happens. That name is “Burden.” They whisper about sightings of strange looking people, mysterious creatures and eerie noises coming from the woods at night. They tell stories about careless people who get a little too close to the family property and are never seen again...
Come brave the roads at Burden Acres and find out for yourself if the stories are true.
